Modern techniques for minimally-invasive care

Laser dentistry and ozone therapy are advanced tools that support healing and infection control when used alongside traditional dental care. At Integrative Dentistry, these technologies are not used as standalone “add-ons,” but as part of a thoughtful, conservative treatment approach.

We integrate laser and ozone therapy in specific situations, such as restorative care preparation, root canal protocols, periodontal support, and post-procedure healing, when they can meaningfully benefit outcomes.

Our focus is always on preserving natural structures, supporting the body’s ability to heal, and avoiding unnecessary or aggressive treatment.

The benefits of laser dentistry and ozone therapy

When used intentionally, laser and ozone therapy can support comfort, healing, and conservative care without adding complexity or pressure to treatment decisions.

Supports healing and recovery

Laser and ozone therapy help reduce bacteria and inflammation, supporting the body’s natural healing processes after procedures.

Enhances conservative treatment

These tools allow us to be more precise and conservative, helping preserve natural tooth and gum structure whenever possible.

Comfort-focused care

Laser therapy can be used to support patient comfort during longer appointments or for patients with TMJ or muscle tension concerns.

How we use laser & ozone

Laser dentistry

We use advanced Fotona laser technology to support a variety of dental procedures, including periodontal care and soft tissue treatments. For some patients, laser treatment can help reduce inflammation, improve healing, and increase comfort, particularly for those with TMJ-related tension or difficulty staying open for extended periods. Laser dentistry is used selectively and thoughtfully, always as part of a broader treatment plan.

Ozone therapy

Ozone therapy is integrated into care in specific situations where additional disinfection and healing support may be beneficial. We commonly use ozone after extractions (through coordinated care), during root canal protocols to help address complex canal systems, and in cases of deep decay where we are working to preserve the tooth and avoid more invasive treatment. Ozone may be delivered as water or gas depending on the application. The goal is to support healing and reduce bacterial load, not to replace necessary dental treatment.

She makes going to the dentist a delight!
